Description

Phantom Breaker: Battle Grounds takes the heroes and villains of its fighting game predecessors and drops them into a chibi Tokyo.

The result is a sidescrolling beat ‘em up that takes an age-old formula popularised by the likes of Double Dragon and updates the experience with a simplified lane system, fighting game control system and persistent, upgradeable characters.

Mikoto, Waka, Itsuki and Yuzuha will have to battle through waves of the pixelated possessed, obtaining secret moves, special abilities, and stat boosts if they ever hope to recover the innocent Nagi from the mysterious Phantom and continue the Kumon family legacy.

Originally released on Xbox 360 before being ported to PlayStation Vita, Phantom Breaker: Battle Grounds will make its long-awaited PC debut in the West next year.
